About Us (what you want to know, up front)
A. Quick Summary:
- SummerClerk.com is based in Birmingham, AL, one of the nation’s hottest entrepreneurial zones. It was birthed by Niche Recruiting Technologies and, like many companies based in Birmingham, NRT has learned how to compete in markets larger and smaller to achieve growth, which gives the people we serve a competitive edge.
- That kind of discipline produced a system that delivers a superior way to match the needs of people who seek, find, and influence talent in each of the licensed professions. The breakthrough product is The 3-Dimensional Resume®
- Specifically, Niche Recruiting Technologies (NRT) was formed to build niche recruiting web sites while taking advantage of new Internet technologies such as video, online personality profiling and social networking. These technologies enable unique recruiting web sites to be designed that have high value to all participating parties.
B. Quick Details
- Most job boards or recruiting web sites are, in general, having to provide a "one size fits all" service. These sites are designed to appeal to multiple industries, they are not designed by those who benefit the most – the job seeker and employer of a unique industry. In that spirit, SummerClerk.com was designed by law firm recruiters with input from career center directors (including law schools and law associations) and students. This site is unique targeting the law student internship experience.
- NRT currently has other patent pending niche sites under development to meet the needs of paralegals and lateral-transfer attorneys.
C. Specifics about the CEO
- William (Bill) F. Hart has fifteen years in career counseling along with experience in building fast growing organizations. In conjunction with NRT, Bill has a patent pending on the unique process of combining video, personality profiling with a resume on a unique web site.
- Before NRT, Bill completed five years in two other entrepreneurial ventures in the medical diagnostic imaging field of nuclear and MRI imaging. As Vice President of Sales and Business Development for a fast growing startup, he helped grow a company from one facility to seven covering 50% of the major US markets. Through this rapid growth, the company became an acquisition candidate and was recently acquired by Cardinal Health.
- Before transitioning to the medical field Bill, spent five years selling network integration and Internet technologies for regional technology companies.
- Bill also has experience in business leadership development and has sold employment assessment systems.
Bill has a BS in Management from Auburn University and a MBA from The University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Bill can be contacted at info@summerclerk.com.
D. Specifics about structure and Strategic + Operational Development Units
- As a know-how driven company, NRT is best characterized by the term, "solutions looking for problems". On that basis the integration of strategy and operations is at the core of every solution offered. Accordingly the Strategic Development Unit and the Operations Development Unit have a competitive advantage that comes from teams populated by seasoned professionals who each have a minimum of 15 years in businesses across multiple industry categories.
- The benefits accruing to people in niche categories include a mix of systems and processes that are focused on solutions that address specific needs with a blend of resources, perspective, and imaginative problem solving.
